Build strong, healthy relationships that nourish you and help you grow. Remove from your life people who drain you or are toxic. Express your needs and feelings clearly and calmly and use "I" statements instead of blaming yourself.

Value your family's or partner's time, space, and opinions, and also respect each other's boundaries. Create a safe space for vulnerability—comfort each other during struggles and celebrate successes together.

Developing trust and reliability is also essential in any relationship, so keep your promises and show up when it matters. Give each other time, create positive memories, and make time for laughter and play.

No relationship is ever perfect, so if an issue ever arises, communicate with each other to resolve it. Focus on the problem, not the person, and find a solution that works for both. If you need to forgive or apologize, do so.

Maintain your identity and interests and nurture your relationship while avoiding unhealthy dependency. Regularly check in with each other, express appreciation, and consistently give each other time and effort.

Healthy relationships are not built by finding good people, but through the kindness, respect, and presence you give to each other. Strong relationships are very important for humans because they teach us to be our true selves and make us feel seen, heard, and valued.
